Pizzeria Vecchia Napoli

We stumbled on La Taverna, around the corner from our hotel, and were very happy with its cozy Alpine (warm wood paneling, elk antler chandeliers, crisp white tablecloths), ambiance, traditionally attired and well trained waiters, and menu choices. The whole evening was very pleasant.

Stellar service, incredible and creative food, and a wonderful element of storytelling that really immerses you in the journey of the food served. A must in Bergamo. We will definitely return

Overall the experience was very good, especially if we consider the high quality sushi and kindness of the staff. Going there as a couple, we have been assigned a table in the corridor where all the small tables are. Unfortunately that&rsquo;s not the perfect spot to be, so many people passing by (our wine basket got hit twice). On top of that, I would consider finding a way to isolate the restroom: eating while earning the hand dryer is not so pleasant.

Excellent experience! Restaurant with a very relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Very available and efficient service! Excellent food, quality and fantasy with absolutely adequate price! A beautiful discovery in the full center of Bergamo. We&#39;ll certainly be back.

It&rsquo;s not a bad place but we felt a little bit under pressure from the moment we came. The guy  in glasses (probably the manager) was still tried the speed up our order. Even came to our table for 2 or 3 times saying &ldquo;hurry up&rdquo; in Italian ???? I would understand that if the place would be fully booked but there was only one more table except us in the restaurant. We came there to relax not to win the race in ordering food ???? In the end of the day the pizza was ok, rosso warm pasta quite spicy and over - peppered (not counting that in my review - because it&rsquo;s a pizza place, ok? .)) but it&rsquo;s more kind of Friday night food than a place you will truly remember . So consider which kind of experience you are looking for.
